princehonorableOkay, so this is unexpected.
Charming had been pleased to be free of the poison in his system thanks to Zelda's magic, even if he still couldn't find a way home (if you can even call it home, seeing as he's still trying to make it to Neverland). So he's feeling much, much better, and he's used all his new energy to explore as many doors as he could find. That's sort of where his problem has come in. He's two steps into a promising world that looked to be filled with things that could be Neverland and that's when he realized...
He's not back in Neverland.
And he might just possibly be animated. Really, Charming shouldn't be so shocked given that he knows that he's been animated in books and movies before, but seeing the strange ink-dyed tint to your own skin is something that he's not entirely sure he'll ever be used to. He draws out his sword to find that's just as cartoonish, and he's sort of afraid to look in a mirror.
He really should have remembered that even though he might be out of the dreamshade woods, there's still plenty of crazy to go around. He's in the midst of turning to head back to the hotel when, in the distance, he hears something sounding that almost sounds like a familiar roar. If he didn't know any better, he'd say that's the sound Maleficent had made, when Rumple had sent Charming after her the first time.
What would be the harm in lingering? At least to make sure old foes haven't somehow come back to life here?
