So this is way unexpected, but it's not like it's the first time Marceline's run into a strange interdimensional portal. It's definitely the first time she found one in her fridge, but that's life.
And hey, there's no sunlight, so why worry about all that junk? Nah. Marceline's just gonna float through the hallways and explore, because she's just chill like that, as most Vampire Queens are. She's even got a box of strawberries that she's eating one by one, poking a fang into one and sucking out all the red color. She's even being nice and putting the lifeless gray ones back in the box.
"Man this place is so weird," she says, floating two feet off the ground as she explores.

Something like that.
Yeah. Right. She couldn't lie, even to herself.
Still berating herself about that, Bella turned a corner and looked ahead of her. She stopped short when she saw someone (something?) floating above the floor.
"Um. Hello?"

She holds out the box of half-grayed strawberries as an offering. "The gray ones still taste like strawberries."
no subject
"Ah, thanks, no. Strawberries aren't really my thing. Can I ask why they're gray?"
no subject
"Delicious!"

"How about you?"
no subject
"But I am a vampire."
no subject
"I just opened my fridge and there was a weird portal in there. Does that happen to you?"
no subject
Bella laughed. "I don't have a fridge, but I don't think that's the most relevant part of the question. I don't see portals, either. I just opened a door to my house and ended up here instead of home and now I can't get back."

"That's..." She started, then remembered to smile. No reason to be unfriendly, even if she was baffled by this person's gravity immunity. "That's quite a trick."
no subject
"So much more fun than walking. Don't know how you do it."

"Now there's a nice name."
no subject
"Ruby," she agreed with a nod. "Thank you. What's your name?"

"Well, I have to say, you're my first vampire. And my first queen. Two for you, Marceline." She smiled. "Which is also quite a lovely name."

Still, it's not with any particular malice that she watches Marceline, just-- healthy curiosity. She knows passive body language when she sees it, and she's totally grown as a person. Sometimes even asks questions first and punches after!

"Yo, do you know what this place is?"
no subject
At that, Faith shrugs (while still totally taking note of those fangs, of course) because that's not a terrible point.
"Hotel's the best I've got so far." Faith nods back at the girl. "You just randomly wind up here too?"
no subject
"Yeah. There was a portal in my fridge."
no subject
"Thanks, I'm good." Seriously, Faith's sure her ease at responding to the most bizarre of situations is more an attest to her dysfunctional upbringing, though the supernatural creature bit helps some, too. Whatever, sucking juice (?) from fruit was better than blood from innocents.
"I was leaving my flat. Or trying, at least. You do portals a lot?"
no subject
"Only when I'm visiting my dad. So, like, never."
no subject
"Right. Vampire." Her distaste for discolored strawberries aside, Faith is just going to roll with this. Hell, she's dealt with way worse. "Dads suck. Never was a fan."
