So this is way unexpected, but it's not like it's the first time Marceline's run into a strange interdimensional portal. It's definitely the first time she found one in her fridge, but that's life.

And hey, there's no sunlight, so why worry about all that junk? Nah. Marceline's just gonna float through the hallways and explore, because she's just chill like that, as most Vampire Queens are. She's even got a box of strawberries that she's eating one by one, poking a fang into one and sucking out all the red color. She's even being nice and putting the lifeless gray ones back in the box.

"Man this place is so weird," she says, floating two feet off the ground as she explores.

"Right. Vampire." Her distaste for discolored strawberries aside, Faith is just going to roll with this. Hell, she's dealt with way worse. "Dads suck. Never was a fan."

"He was just, like, way neglectful." Not like Simon, but she's just so not gonna go there.

"Common theme. But-- portals in your fridge, huh? You walk into fridges often?" Faith looks amused, and is happily willing to bypass the daddy issue bonding for something less heavy.

Marceline shakes her head, laughing as if that is the weirdest thing she's ever heard. "No way! I just opened it up and moved the milk and then whabam, portal. What was I gonna do? Just leave it there?"

"Hell, I would've. Portals usually mean hell dimension for me though, so. Y'know." Don't you laugh at her, Marceline, this is such serious business. Even though Faith's laugh means it's definitely not serious at all.

"Well, that's the Nightosphere for me. But that's mostly 'cause my dad lives there and...bleeeeh." Marceline's distasteful expression morphs her whole face.

"This is way more fun."

"Nightosphere, huh? Sounds ... technical." Which is just Faith's way of prompting for more information about it without actually trying to seem interested. It's a thing, she's got issues.

"Yeah. It's a weirdo hell dimension. I think they also have bureaucrats there." Marceline sighs, totally unimpressed.

"Eh, if it's any consolation we got plenty of those where I come from." Sometimes Faith wonders if she might prefer a hell dimension. Then she remembers indoor plumbing and Jack Daniels.

"Bureaucrats? I know, right? They're just the worst." Marceline shakes her head, frowning.

"I mostly ignore them. Don't have a lot of respect for anyone who never actually gets their hands dirty." That gets a shrug, because what the hell is Faith ever gonna do about it?
