Most of the chairs have been removed from the Dining Hall to allow for ballroom-style dancing to the orchestra set up on the far end of the room. A polished cherry wood open bar is aligned along one wall. The adjacent Bistro is open for the duration of the formal reception, serving gourmet hors d'oeuvres.

Downstairs, the basement's largest storeroom has been converted into a spooky nightclub, complete with DJ, dance floor and cocktails.

Alex blinked as though she had just been told that someone had run over her...well, her pig. Maybe Fiona had a point. "Does it help if I cut the bacon with vodka?" she asked. "Because it's a thinner, right? Or I should probably just eat a salad," she says glumly. "My mother would be so disappointed. Salad is for the weak."

"You sound like my dad right now," Fiona said, pulling a face that was halfway between disturbed and amused. "That's usually not a good thing, for the record. Do they even have salad? This doesn't really look like a salad kind of party, Alex."

"Which is pretty awesome," Alex says, bursting with excitement. True, salad has its' place, but not really when she's hungry or at a party or whenever you can choose ribs instead -- so pretty much most of the time. "Also! PS, awesome costume!" she congratulates Fiona. "I feel like I should be dousing you in water like that angel did in the movie."
