After weeks of hard missions and even harder conversations, d'Artagnan had been hesitant to go through anymore strange doors. Then he'd passed by one left slightly ajar and he'd heard music...smelled wonderful things, and curiosity had gotten the better of him. Luckily, going through the door had resulted in nothing but delight. It apparently passed through to something called an amusement park and d'Artagnan was amazed and definitely amused.
First had been the colorful spinning horses, then the wheel that went up into the sky, and then something insanely exhilarating called a roller coaster. D'Artagnan had ridden several of them more than once, only stopping when hunger sent him to the food stalls and toward something called a funnel cake.
And then, he had found something called the paintball range. Immediately, d'Artagnan was signing up for the next session.
[[He went through the amusement park door. Catch him at any point in his adventure!]]

But he follows d'Artagnan into the arena and they are given something they call "protective gear," including something that is meant to cover their eyes. Then the pistols, which weigh so little as to be laughable.
The "rules" are explained to them, too.
Rules. Aramis smirks.

"Shall I write Constance into my will?"

It seems the game won't start until they put them on. Bah. On they go.
The "game" is started and immediately moves for cover before aiming and firing.

"Afraid of you? Never!" he called back.

This flimsy pistol is terribly inaccurate. He waits to see if he can hear where d'Artagnan has gone to hide, before trying to land a few shots - which seem to be bright yellow.

Aramis might have been celebrating to the point where he could feel the breeze of the paint pellets above his head, nicking his hat.
Not his hat.
He checks his ammunition stores and takes a deep breath, coming from cover with a volley of fire, right toward d'Artagnan.

"Imagine, any of those could have killed me if they were bullets, I'd be dead!" d'Artagnan shouted, laughing at how much fun it was.

He grinned and fired off a few more times before dodging to another vantage point.

At least it wasn't pink.
As d'Artagnan runs, he fires, working the angle as best he can to fire so that the pellets hit him.

"I think it's a decent reflection on you!"

When Aramis raised his head, d'Artagnan sent a round of blue paint right into his hair, laughing like a fool as he ran away.

Aramis fires, hoping to get at least a couple of shots landed before too moves to another position.
