What reactions she had earned for similar proclamations had never been quite like his.not simply for his confusion, but that he did not sneer or disbelieve her, either demanding she prove it or refuse to even consider that a woman could do such things. It was better than novelty, more appealing than familiarity. It sparked new delight where she needed little help in being charmed by him.
