He'd made an effort to try and dress more modern for the party. It was still a black dress, but heavily sprinkled with gold beading and trim, and cut so that it was quite elegant, far from the neck-high, confining dresses that she was accustomed to after so long. She didn't really know if the blind date was a great idea, but she knew that, to understand the hotel to its fullest, she needed to know more of its occupants.
