"Two hours back," Kieren says wearily, given that they'd pumped a shot into him as soon as it had all ended. He knows he's got some time, but he's learned too quickly what happens when all that time bleeds away before you realize it. "I wish Simon were here," he admits ruefully. "Maybe he could've given me some of the homemade stuff."
