The first time he'd met Thor, it wasn't actually a meeting so much as Thor had been a target Clint might have had to shoot. On that rainy night, Clint might have actually been able to take Thor down - not that he would have killed him. The right arrow in the right spot could incapacitate quite efficiently. Still, Clint was always glad he'd never been given that order. Sometimes, when he was looking down the shaft of an arrow, he understood when he was aiming at his own people - even if he'd never met them yet.

Of course, shoot an arrow at Thor now and it would probably do nothing more than annoy him.

While he had many reservations about the man's brother, he had almost none for the God of Thunder himself, and he greeted the blonde giant with a smile. "Only just," he answered. "What are you doing here? If this is Asgard, well - it's not what I expected. Where's the mead hall?"
