Bella couldn't help the small, bittersweet smile and the memory of her first time at the Cullen's house and Edward outlining the lack of coffins and cobwebs. In one respect, she was glad she'd taken the time in those first moments to remember everything she could about her human life. In another, she wished she could forget it. Being here, without her family, would be easier that way.
