"It might have been Spring Break at a bar," Alex confesses because now that she thinks about it, she really doesn't think Scotty is the kind of guy who's allowed to teach or generally be around teenagers. "I kind of went to school for like, a year? I left after I got enough Ds and Fs to spell a lot of 'Deafs'," she says knowingly. "My parents helped me get my store off the ground and I've pretty much been doing that."
