Steve could be nothing less than grateful that in the unreality of the situation, he had run into someone he knew at least as well as Sif. That he hadn't been left to flounder on his own without someone there who understood what had happened to him and was more then willing to help him where he would not have known even where to have started. Had it been a battle, an ambush, a siege, he would have understood, but to have lost the shape of himself and left quite literally stumbling out his door with no idea of what had happened to him, he might have ended up planting himself on the floor and been no use to anyone. Let alone himself.
