"Oh no, of course not," Ruby said with a wave of her hand and another bright smile. "No pressure at all. I just want to make you a trophy you will like, Loki." She said his name purposefully because she liked the way her mouth shaped around it, and because it was utterly unlike any name she'd ever heard before. It was also quite strange to be talking to a man as much as she liked without someone putting a stop to it, and when Loki offered her a seat, she moved to take it.
"Thank you," she said, scooting it in a bit and crossing her legs beneath the table. She was used to waitressing in heels, perhaps too used to it, but it was still more uncomfortable than not to be on one's feet for hours at a time. And besides, it'd been a good while since her last break, anyway.
"So, the magic," she said, "can I ask what you can do with it?"
