"Oh, no, he's not...Fitz isn't my...we're not," she pulled in a breath, brow furrowed as though this is taking all of her energy. "He's not my husband," she blurts out, a pang in her stomach reminding her of unsettled feelings she'd yet to deal with. "He's my partner. In science! He's my partner in science!"
