The roar of the T-Rex is deafening. For a moment, Buffy can't move, can't think, can't do anything. She recovers with typical slayer grace, aware that Dawn is waiting on her. She's got to buy them a tiny bit of time.
"Seriously? Use some mouth wash," she quips, darting in with her scythe, almost a blur as she slashes at what she thinks might be a T-Rex equivalent of an ankle. It does the job, making the T-Rex fall back, screaming at an even louder decibel than before.
For her part, Buffy isn't wasting any time. The T-Rex is crying over his boo-boo and Buffy is dashing to the door. She launches herself through it, taking Dawn with her so that they both land in a tangle of limbs on the hotel floor. She kicks the door shut then rolls off Dawn, onto her back so she can just lay there and catch her breath.
