Aziraphale would never be so crass as to tell someone that they weren't real, especially when it was very obvious that they were (he and Crowley had already discussed the truth in their surroundings, and were quite convinced this was all reality of some sort). He would not, however, lie. "Well, to be perfectly frank, you're part of a story where I come from," he said. "A very famous story that has been discussed, shared, and represented in as many mediums as possible. It is fantastic that you have existed all along. I wonder if the story I know is the one that's yours, though?"
