"I'm looking to get the teams together by the end of next week," Jim says. He thinks this is enough time to float interest and assess skill sets before assembling anything together. He doesn't have anything else pressing, since he hasn't been able to get back to the Enterprise and if he doesn't have something to occupy his time he's just going to dwell and obsess on how he's letting down his crew.

"I'll send out another message when we're starting expeditions. I'm happy to have you on my own squad, if you want?"
